Laptop Program Update
The college has a few adjustments to our current laptop program. The HP Probook 430 G1 is no longer available. It has been upgraded by Hewlett Packard to the HP Probook 430 G2. It has faster CPU and better specs. The model is available from Dai Du at CDM in the same manner as before. The order form has been updated.
We have also engineered a new Macbook OSX image. This will allow students and staff to bring Apple macbooks from home and connect to school network location and printers. There is a bunch of free software with this and it helps connect to school Wi-Fi with out drop outs. You can now bring in Macbook Air models and any machine running Yosemite that were previously not supported. Students can bring this to the IT Dept in the Library for connection. Significant time and spenditure has been put into this project to allow as much integration as possible for computers to Dept of Education networks for our students and staff.
